5.1. Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. which is used on the website for marketing and optimization purposes (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, that is, text files that are stored on your computer and used to analyze the way you use the website. Information about your use of the website generated by cookies is usually transferred to the Google server located in the United States and stored there.

Google Analytics is used based on Point (f) of Paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Paragraph 15 of Article 3 of the Act on the Utilization of Teleservices (TMG).

We also added the AnonymizeIP Code to Google Analytics on our website. This ensures that your IP address is masked so that all data is collected anonymously. The full IP address is sent to the Google server in the USA and shortened there in exceptional cases only. Google will use this data on behalf of the website operator to evaluate your use of the website, report to the website operator on the website activity, and provide other services related to website usage and Internet activity. Our legitimate interest in data processing is based on Point (f) of Paragraph 1 of Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation and complies with these purposes.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

You can keep cookies from being stored by installing the appropriate browser software, but take notice that in this case, you may not be able to take full advantage of all features on this website if needed.

You can also keep Google from collecting cookie-generated data related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and processing it by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

See more information at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or at http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html (general information about Google Analytics and data protection).

5.2. Google Web Fonts

For uniform representation of fonts, this website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google. Google fonts are installed locally without connecting to Google servers.

5.3. Google Ads

We use Google Ads Conversion to draw attention to our attractive offers through promotional material (so-called Google Ads) on external websites. We can evaluate the effectiveness of individual promotional activities based on the data of the advertising campaign. This also helps us to show you the ads of interest, make our website more interesting to you, and provide a fair estimate of the advertising expenses. These ads are delivered by Google through so-called “Ad Servers”. For this purpose, we use ad server cookies to evaluate certain parameters when measuring effectiveness, such as ad display or user clicks. If you visit our website by clicking on Google advertising, Google Ads stores a cookie on your device. These cookies are usually stored within 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. They include the following information: the unique cookie ID, the number of ad views per location (frequency), the last view (refers to conversions after viewing), and rejection data (a note that the user does not want to be contacted again).

These cookies allow Google to recognize your Internet browser. If a user visits certain pages of the website of the Ads client and the cookie is still stored on his/her computer, Google and the client can see that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page. Each Ads client is assigned its own cookie. Therefore, it is not possible to track cookies through the websites of the Ads clients. We do not collect or process any personal data as part of the above promotional activities. We only get statistical estimates provided by Google. Using these estimates, we can determine which of the promotional activities are particularly effective. Using these advertising media, we do not receive any additional data, for instance, we cannot identify users based on this information.

Due to the used marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no influence on the volume and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool and therefore inform you to the best of our knowledge: the integration of Ads Conversion let Google know that you have accessed the relevant part of our website and viewed or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with Google service, Google can assign this visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, the provider might obtain and store your IP address.

5.4. Remarketing

We use the remarketing function within the Google Ads service. Due to it, we can show the users of our website ads based on their interests on other websites in the Google ad network (so-called “Google ads” in Google search, or on YouTube, or other websites). For this end, the system analyzes user interactions on our website (such as which offers attracted the user) to be able to show targeted ads to the user on other pages after visiting our website. To do this, Google stores a number in the browsers of the users who visited certain Google services or web pages on the Google Media Network. This number, known as a “cookie”, is used to log visits of such users. This number is used to uniquely identify the web browser on a particular endpoint device, but not an individual. No personal data is stored.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways:

a) configure your browser software; for example, disabling third-party cookies means that you will not receive third-party advertising;

b) install the plugin provided by Google at https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin;

c) deactivate the interest-based ads from providers participating in the About Ads self-regulation campaign at http://www.aboutads.info/choices4; please note that this setting is removed when cookies are deleted;

d) permanently deactivate cookie store in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers at http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin,

e) use the appropriate cookie settings. Please note that in this case, you may not be able to take full advantage of all features on this offer if needed.

See more information about data protection at Google at http://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. You can also visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at http://www.networkadvertising.org. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. Legal basis: Article 6(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation

Cookies are small text files that are stored in the user’s browser. They are used to evaluate the use of this website. The collected data is evaluated only for statistical purposes and in anonymized form and a pseudonymous identification number (ID) is assigned to your browser. DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal data. You can disable cookies by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link under the DoubleClick deactivation extension.
